After breakfast we will take a panoramic walking tour of the old city, protected by the 16th century Revelin fortress located to the east, which is only for pedestrians. Its double walls of 20 towers and bastions surround the baroque cathedral and exquisite churches, monasteries, palaces, fountains and houses with red or yellow roofs. Dubrovnik acquired fabulous wealth from trade during the Middle Ages and was famous for its art from the 15th to 17th century. The old city of Dubrovnik has, among its many attractions, the following monuments that we will visit: the Onofrio Fountain, the Franciscan and Dominican Monasteries, the Sponza and Rector’s Palaces, and the Cathedral.
Free afternoon and overnight.
