ALBANIA CLASSIC TOUR

Day 1: Arrival Tirana – Walking tour of Tirana

Upon arrival at Tirana International airport, we transfer you towards your hotel.

After refreshment we enjoy the beautiful capital of Albania, Tirana, we walk towards the highlights of the city and visit the most important points such as the boulevard with the government buildings, the clock tower, Ethem Bey Mosque, Orthodox Cathedral and BunkArt 2.

After the visit free tie, I city center.

Day 2: Tirana – Kruja – Tirana

After the breakfast we transfer towards the city of Kruja, a medieval city where the highlights are the Ottoman style bazar place to get the perfect souvenir from Albania, and the historical museum dedicated to Albanian National Hero Skanderbeg, where we get to know the most important Albanian history highlights.

Day 3. Tirana – Berat – Vlora

After breakfast we depart towards the south of Albania in the medieval city of Berat.

Listed under UNESCO Heritage Site. Visit of Berat, old part of the city, Fortress and Onufri Museum.A traditional Berat’is hospitality in a 300 years old house which is now a culture monument. During the visit of the house and its unique settlement, enjoy a coffee and taste sweets while in company of the host.

After the city of Berat we depart towards Vlora in the coast of Albania.

Day 4: Vlora – Apollonia – Zvernec – Vlora

After breakfast we depart toowards the archeological park of apollonia where we visit the anciet city dedicated to God Apollo, a city full history founded by the ancient greeks and romans.

After the visit of Apollonia we depart towards the Zvernec mosartey, a beatiful hidden gem near the city of Vlora, and ancient orthodox monastery which survived diffrent wards and communisem period.

Day 5: Vlora – Porto Palermo – Saranda

After breakfast we depart towards the scenic mountain ride, descending the rocky shore and pristine beaches of Ionian Sea, offering photo opportunities of the natural landscape, unique village settings, Himara beach town and fortress of Porto Palermo.

After wards we transfer n the city of Saranda near the Ionian sea.

Day 6: Saranda – Butrint - Saranda

After breakfast we transfer to Butrint Natural Park (40 min). Butrint national park is a UNSECO World Heritage Site, and a Ramsar Wetland Site of International Importance. This impressive walking tour will stir your imagination about the ancient word during the peak of the Roman power and the classical Greek mythology. Start with the Asclepius temple, theatre, Roman portico and baths, early Christian baptistery, byzantine basilica, defensive walls and their impressive gates. Return to Saranda and free time

Day 7: Saranda – Gjirokaster – Durres

After breakfast Depart to Gjirokastra, with stop en route to Blue Eye, a karst spring located on the western slopes of Mount Mali Gjerë in Albania.

We’ll continue our driving to Gjirokastra (listed under UNESCO Heritage Sites). Visit the castle of Gjirokastra. Free time to explore the old town, the bazaar, with its characteristic shops and great opportunity to interact with local folks.

After the visit of Gjirkastra we depart towards the cost city od Durres.

Day 8: Durres – Airport

After breakfast we walk around the city of Durres and visit the ancient amphitheater one of the biggest in the region.
