Arrival at Munich Int. Airport and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 2 - MUNICH

We start our tour with a panoramic visit of the city, having the opportunity to wonder with the City Hall on Marienplatz, the Viktualien Markt market, the Church of Our Lady, where Pope Benedict XVI was a cardinal, the famous Hofbräuhaus brewery, the Residence, the Old and New Pinakothek or St. Peter’s Church, among other monuments. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the gardens of Nymphenburg Palace before continuing the tour to Olympia Park and BMW World.

Afternoon at leisure and overnight. 

DAY 3 - MUNICH - NEUSCHWANSTEIN - INNSBRUCK

We depart in the morning after breakfast to Füssen, where we will visit Neuschwanstein Palace, the best known of the 3 palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, nicknamed “the Madman”. Born from the imagination of the king, the palace is a set of various architectural and decorative styles, purely aesthetic function, with continuous references to legends and medieval heroes. Continuation of the tour to Innsbruck, capital of the Alps and the Austrian Tyrol region. Upon arrival we will enjoy a walking tour of the city center, whose streets combine the Middle Ages with the 21st century. The Maria-Theresia Avenue, with its Triumphal Arch and St. Anne’s Column, lead to the symbol of the city, the Golden Roof, the Imperial Church and the Imperial Palace. Overnight stay. 

DAY 4 - INNSBRUCK - HERRENINSEL PALACE - SALZBURG

We continue our journey to the German town of Prien am Chiemsee. Situated on the shores of Lake Chiemsee, in the center stands the island of Herreninsel, where King Ludwig II of Bavaria had his third and lesser known palace built. It was meant to be a smaller scale copy of the Palace of Versailles, which remained half-built after the king’s untimely death. Only 7 rooms, together with the kitchen and the main staircase were completed. Continuation of the journey to Salzburg.

DAY 5 - SALZBURG
DAY 5 - SALZBURG

In the morning we will visit the hometown of the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, passing by the Mirabell Palace, the Mozarteum (the University of Music), the Marionette Theater, Mozart’s residence and the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Music Festival Theaters, the Getreidegasse and Hellbrunn Palace.

Afternoon free at Leisure. 

DAY 6 - SALZBURG – SALZKAMMERGUT – VIENNA
DAY 6 - SALZBURG – SALZKAMMERGUT  – VIENNA

After breakfast, we continue our trip to the area of Salzkammergut, German name for “chamber of salt goods”, so called because of the salt mines that were exploited and were the main economic resource. We will visit Hallstatt, considered the most beautiful village in Austria, and St Wolfgang, on the shores of the lake with the same name.

We continue to Vienna, capital of Austria.

DAY 7 - VIENNA
DAY 7 - VIENNA

Today we will go for a sightseeing tour in Vienna. Driving around the Ringstrasse we will see the most outstanding buildings of the city, such as the Opera House, the Hofburg or Winter Palace, the Museum of Fine Arts and its twin Museum of Natural History, the Parliament, the City Hall or the Votive Church, among others. We will continue with a pleasant walking tour through the center that will take us to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter, the house where Mozart lived or the Danube Canal, an area of street artists. We will finish the visit with one of the most Viennese customs: having a coffee with a Sacher cake at one of popular coffee houses.

Afternoon at leisure and overnight in Vienna. 

DAY 8 - VIENNA
DAY 8 - VIENNA

Free day to enjoy personal activities or take an optional excursion to the Danube Valley, where you will enjoy a boat ride on the river and a visit to the largest baroque abbey in Austria, Melk Abbey.

Breakfast at the hotel and at the agreed time, transfer to the airport.
