Welcome to Tirana, the vibrant capital of Albania. Upon arrival, meet your local representative and begin your journey with a scenic transfer to Kruja, one of the country’s most iconic historical towns.
Known as the city of Albania’s national hero Skanderbeg, Kruja offers a charming introduction to the country’s rich heritage. Explore the impressive castle walls, the Skanderbeg Museum, and the traditional stone houses and cobbled streets that preserve the authentic spirit of northern Albania.

Day 2: Kruja – Berat – Vlora
Today’s journey takes you to Berat, the famous “City of a Thousand Windows” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Walk through its beautifully preserved fortress, where stone houses, ancient churches, mosques, and historic walls create a fascinating atmosphere that reflects centuries of harmony between different cultures and religions. Visit the remarkable Onufri Museum and capture unforgettable panoramic views over the city.
Optional experience: enjoy a wine tasting at the renowned Çobo Winery, nestled among the rolling hills near Mount Tomorr.

Day 3: Vlora – Butrint – Saranda
Today you will experience one of the most spectacular drives in the Balkans along the breathtaking Albanian Riviera.
Admire dramatic mountain landscapes, charming seaside villages, and the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea while traveling south toward Saranda.
Visit the extraordinary Butrint National Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological treasures in the region.
Walk through the ancient ruins where Greek mythology, Roman history, and Byzantine heritage come together among temples, theatres, basilicas, baths, and impressive stone gates surrounded by untouched nature.

Day 4: Saranda – Ioannina – Kalambaka
After breakfast, cross into Greece and continue toward the charming lakeside city of Ioannina.
Enjoy a panoramic visit of the historic Ioannina Castle, one of Greece’s most significant Byzantine fortresses, offering beautiful views over Lake Pamvotis. Wander through the old town’s narrow streets, discover traditional architecture, and experience the city’s unique multicultural atmosphere.
Continue through the Greek countryside toward Kalambaka, gateway to the legendary Meteora monasteries.

Day 05: Kalambaka – Bitola – Ohrid
Begin the day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Meteora, one of the most extraordinary religious sites in the world.
Perched dramatically on giant rock formations above the valley, the Byzantine monasteries create an unforgettable landscape of spirituality and natural beauty. Visit the Holy Monastery of Varlaam and the Monastery of St. Stephan while enjoying panoramic views over the region.
Afterwards, continue toward Bitola in North Macedonia. Time permitting, enjoy a pleasant walk along Širok Sokak, the city’s elegant pedestrian avenue filled with history and local charm.
Proceed to Ohrid.

Day 06: Ohrid – St. Naum – Ohrid
Discover the beauty of Ohrid, often called the “Jerusalem of the Balkans” and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the enchanting old town located on the shores of Lake Ohrid, one of Europe’s oldest and deepest lakes. Visit important landmarks such as the Church of St. Bogorodica Perivlepta, St. Sophia Cathedral, and admire the iconic Church of St. John Kaneo overlooking the lake.
After lunch, enjoy a relaxing boat ride across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Ohrid.
Optional afternoon visit to the peaceful Monastery of Saint Naum, beautifully situated by the lakeshore and surrounded by stunning natural scenery.

Day 07: Ohrid – Tirana
After breakfast, return to Tirana.

Day 1: Tirana - Kruja
KRUJA, is considered one of the principal old towns and is one of the most glorious cities in Albania. Visit the castle walls, Historical Museum dedicated Skanderbeg, and the architecture of the old houses invites you to a special cultural aspect of life in northern Albania.

Day 2: Kruja - Berat - Vlora
Today, we’ll head to Berat, a medieval town listed under UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
We will walk up at the fortress and visit its unique architecture of stone houses, of multiple window buildings; walls and towers, orthodox churches and mosques, reflecting the harmonious coexistence between the Muslim population and the Orthodox Christian, a very positive example for the whole world. Enjoy your visit of Onufri Museum. Take some unforgettable pictures of the city of the “windows one above the other”
Tour & Wine Testing in Cobo Winery (Optional). The winery is scenically nestled at the base of Mt. Tomorri in the rolling hills that surround the city of Berat. Çobo's facilities currently consist of several cultivated vineyards, a spacious kulla (a form of traditional Albanian architecture), and the winery itself, and a wine presentation room, elegantly constructed and furnished in the Berat style.

Today we’ll have a long drive along the breathtaking Albanian Riviera. Enjoy the scenic mountain ride, descending the rocky shore and pristine beaches of Ionian Sea, offering photo opportunities of the natural landscape & unique village settings.
Day 3: Albania Rivera - Butrint - Sarande
Upon arrival to Saranda, lunch (not included)
Visit of Butrint Archaeological Park, a UNSECO World Heritage Site, and a Ramsar Wetland Site of International Importance (two very important titles).
This impressive walking tour will stir your imagination about the ancient word during the peak of the Roman power and the classical Greek mythology. Start with the Asclepius temple, theatre, Roman portico and baths, early Christian baptistery, byzantine basilica, defensive walls and their impressive gates.

Start your day with a panoramic visit to the Ioannina Castle, one of the most significant Byzantine-era fortresses in Greece. Explore the Old Castle, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding city and Lake Pamvotis. Inside the castle, you'll find the Aslan Pasha Mosque and the Byzantine Museum, which showcase the city’s multicultural past. Don’t miss the Kastros (Old City) within the castle, where narrow winding streets and traditional houses make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
For lunch, explore the local tavernas in the city center, where you can enjoy traditional Epirotic cuisine such as grilled meats, and pies.
Proceed driving to Kalambaka, with stop en route for refreshments.

Day 4: Kalambaka
Today we’ll start the visit of the Monasteries. METEORA - is actually a religious place with many Byzantine churches and Monasteries, built on top of rocks that looks like hanging rocks, overlooking a beautiful valley. Visit of two Monasteries the Holy Monastery of Varlaam & Monastery of St. Stephan
Important notice: For entering the monasteries of Meteora, appropriate clothing is required. Ladies must not wear short skirts and must have long sleeves. Men are not allowed to wear shorts. However, all the monasteries have wrap skirts at the entrances that you can borrow

Day 5: Kalambaka - Bitola
After lunch, we’ll drive towards Bitola/North Macedonia, with stop en route for refreshments.

After crossing the border, we may stop in Bitola, a city that serves as an administrative, cultural, industrial, commercial, and educational center. It is also one of the oldest cities in the Republic of Macedonia, founded by Philip II. Enjoy a pleasant walk along Širok Sokak.
